01 Using the website
These terms apply to browsing the public pages of aptogroup.eu, to sending contact requests and, for authorized team members, to using the back office. The conditions of a specific service are handled separately, in the corresponding proposal.
For questions about the website or these terms, contact Apto Group at geral@aptogroup.eu.
02 Information published on the website
The guides and public texts on the service pages provide general information about Apto Group's topics and services. Applying that information to a property or project requires an analysis of the documents, the legislation in force and the circumstances of the specific case.
Sending a form or an email does not amount to hiring a service. The scope of work, fees, deliverables and timelines depend on an express agreement for the specific case.
03 Legal value of documents signed by architects
The studies and technical documents Apto Group delivers are reviewed and signed by architects registered with the Ordem dos Arquitectos, Portugal's professional body for architects. They carry technical and legal weight within the scope of the work signed: the signature identifies the author and their professional responsibility for the documents they sign.
The technical documents delivered to the client under a contracted service result from an analysis of the specific case. The informational nature of the website's public texts does not apply to those professional deliverables. The required statements of responsibility are signed by the professionals qualified for the respective documents and roles.
The legal value of signed documents and the effects of the municipal decision are separate matters. An architect's signature does not guarantee a favorable decision, nor does it replace the planning control procedures that apply. A decision on a PIP has the effects set out in the RJUE, Portugal's legal framework for urban development and building, according to its content and the applicable legal conditions.
04 Internal access and contact requests
The website does not offer accounts to the public. Authorized team members must keep their credentials private and must not try to access documents or areas they are not authorized to see. If they suspect unauthorized access, they must contact Apto Group.
The form is meant for explaining your request and does not accept attachments. Share only the data needed for the initial analysis and that you are entitled to pass on. How the data you send is handled is described in the Privacy policy.
05 Content and permitted use
You may browse the content and share links to the website's pages. Any use of text, images, trademarks or other elements must respect the rights of their owners and the uses permitted by law; publishing them on the website does not grant a general license for commercial reuse.
Do not use the website to send spam, introduce malicious code, bypass security measures or disrupt its operation.
06 Availability, links and rights
The website may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical faults. Content may be updated and should be confirmed with official sources and qualified professionals before it informs a decision about a property or procedure.
Links to external websites make it easier to consult sources and public bodies. Those websites have their own content, terms of use and privacy policies.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived by law, including consumer rights where applicable. Changes to the terms are published on this page with the date of the update.
